Our story

A clear morning. We are home with family this season.

Yagnya and Keerthana met a long time ago -- Algebra, 7th grade, 2011, to be exact. They became good friends in 10th grade when they had 3 classes together. Keerthana would pass notes to her friends, and Yagnya, ever the prankster, would intercept (and read!!) them. Eventually, in 11th grade, he asked her to winter ball, and that's where their journey began.

It ended in 12th grade, though. They went to different colleges and parted ways, but would see each other during hangouts with their high school friends. After each get-together, Keerthana and her college housemates would have dining table discussions about whether or not Yagnya could be into her. Her housemates' consensus was always "We're going to lock you two in a room together until you two get back together," and Keerthana's was always "Maybe someday we'll figure it out."

Turns out he still had feelings for her! In 2020, he asked her if she thought she met the person she was going to marry, and she said maybe - thinking "yes, YOU!", but he thought she meant no. That "maybe someday" was 10/29/2020 - when he worked up the courage to tell her he liked her anyways. And THEN the rest was history. They got back together and have been inseparable since :)
