The proposal & what's next

The proposal

Yagnya had been planning the proposal for a while and bought the ring in spring of last year. He convinced Keerthana he was too busy to propose last year and that he'd have more time in 2026, while scheming with her family and friends to make sure they could be there when he proposed during the summer of 2025.

She found out about the proposal about a week before it happened, and was so emotional and absolutely stoked! Yagnya still managed to surprise her by changing the day he would propose and having her friends send her on a bit of a wild goosechase, and proposed at the loveliest little beach near Half Moon Bay with a gorgeous ring on 08/02/2025. Both of their families and friends celebrated with them afterwards, which made it even more special :)

What's next

We're in our wedding era right now - some of our closest friends have either gotten married recently or are getting married soon - and we're very excited to join the club :) We've had so much fun planning our wedding together, and we're so ready to celebrate with all of our friends and family on our big day, can't wait to see you all there!
